Sydney Access

Sydney Access is a boutique work placement program set up in order to match high end work placement opportunities with students who have demonstrated a high level of skill and a particular interest in the industry. Put simply, its employers accessing great students and students accessing great placements. Students apply online and go through an interview process prior to being recommended for placement. The program is based on quality, rather than quantity.

 

Potential Sydney Access candidates already study a VET subject, are in Years 11 & 12 and are considering or looking to obtain employment and further study in the industry. 

 

Sydney Access students must:

 

• Be highly recommended by their teacher and/or principal

• Demonstrate experience in the industry such as previous experience or employment

• Demonstrate a high level of skill during practical lessons within the classroom

• Demonstrate an interest in or desire for a career path within the industry post school
